Start From Where It Hurts
Not sure exactly what's wrong? You don't need to be. Pick the part of the body that's bothering you and we'll route you to the real explanation, not another generic symptom checklist.
Most people arrive here with the same problem: they know where it hurts, and that's it. A search for the pain usually turns up a list of everything it could possibly be, ranked by how frightening it sounds. Starting from the body instead is simply more honest about what you actually know right now.
Pick the area that's bothering you
Select a region on the body map, or choose from the list below. Each one opens onto the conditions we see most often in that area.
Most searched conditions
Head, jaw and neck
Arm and hand
Chest, core and back
Hip, groin and thigh
What you'll find when you get there
Each region page lists the conditions we treat in that area, in plain English, so you can recognise yours without a medical vocabulary. From there, each condition page explains what's actually causing it, how it's usually treated, and when it's worth getting looked at properly rather than waiting it out.
None of it is a diagnosis. Working out which of two similar problems you've got is genuinely hard to do from a screen. That's what an assessment is for. What this should give you is a much better sense of what you're dealing with, and better questions to bring in with you.
