Physiotherapy Mount Annan

Our Mount Annan rooms are in the same building as Ultra Care Medical Centre, a general practice that bulk-bills valid Medicare card holders for most services and is open seven days. There's also an on-site pathology collection room in the building (weekdays, shorter hours than the medical centre itself) and a medical imaging practice.

That matters more than it sounds. A lot of physiotherapy gets held up waiting on something else: a referral that needs writing, a scan that needs booking, a blood test result that needs chasing. When those services sit in the one building, the gaps between them get shorter, and you spend less of your recovery in a car park somewhere.

It also means that if something we find during your assessment needs a doctor rather than a physiotherapist, we can tell you exactly where to go next instead of sending you back to the start.

You don't need a referral to see us. You can book a physiotherapy appointment directly, the same way you'd book anywhere else, and most of our patients do.

There's one situation where a GP visit first is worth it. If your problem is long-term rather than a fresh injury, your GP can assess whether you're eligible for a GP chronic condition management plan (previously called a GP Management Plan). If you are, that plan covers a limited number of subsidised physiotherapy sessions each calendar year through Medicare. It isn't the same as free physiotherapy: Medicare pays a set rebate per session, not the whole fee, but it does bring the cost down meaningfully for people managing something ongoing.

Our Mount Annan clinic accepts both Medicare GP chronic condition management plan referrals and standard private appointments. Having a bulk-billing general practice in the same building makes that pathway unusually straightforward here: the GP who writes the plan and the physiotherapist who delivers it are a short walk apart.

Our Mount Annan clinic holds a 5.0 star rating from 11 Google reviews. That's a smaller number of reviews than some of the bigger operators nearby, and we'd rather say so plainly than dress it up. What it does tell you is that the people who have come through here have been consistently happy with how they were treated.

The reason is simple, and we won't compromise on it: every appointment is one-on-one with your physiotherapist, in a private room. No shared gym floor, no being handed a sheet of exercises and left to it, no being passed between three people across three visits. You get an assessment, an explanation of what's going on, and a plan built around what you need to get back to.
