Physiotherapy Narellan & Harrington Park

You've booked a physio appointment in Narellan, typed the address into your phone, and it's directing you to 22 Sharman Close, Harrington Park. That's correct. If you searched physio Narellan and got a Harrington Park address, it's the first thing worth clearing up.

Well Motion's Narellan clinic sits inside Narellan Central Medical Centre at 22 Sharman Close, Harrington Park NSW 2567 1 3. One clinic, one address. We call it Narellan because Narellan is the area it serves, and because the street it's on sits right on the boundary between the two suburbs.

Where to find us

  • Address: Narellan Central Medical Centre, 22 Sharman Close, Harrington Park NSW 2567
  • Phone: (02) 8111 5633
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Closed Saturday and Sunday.

Those are our physiotherapy hours. The medical centre itself keeps longer hours than we do, so if you're planning around a physio appointment, work to the times above.

The centre is a purpose-built ten-room practice, and describes itself as wheelchair friendly with ample onsite car parking and public transport available nearby 1 2. You won't be circling for a spot, and you won't need to negotiate stairs to get in.

If you're coming from Narellan Town Centre on Camden Valley Way, you're a few minutes up the road 6. From Mount Annan, Currans Hill or Narellan Vale, you're close enough that most people find it easier to get here than to head into Campbelltown.

Who we see here

Narellan and Harrington Park look similar from the road and behave quite differently in a treatment room.

Harrington Park is the larger of the two by some distance (around 13,300 people against Narellan's 3,400), and it's young and family-heavy, with nearly a quarter of residents under 15 and close to two-thirds of households being couple families with children 4 5. Growing knees and ankles, netball and rugby league seasons, and parents managing their own backs while carrying everyone else's gear are all regular reasons people walk in.

Narellan proper skews differently. Its largest occupational group is technicians and trades workers, and road freight transport is one of its top employing industries 4. That means a steady stream of shoulders, backs and wrists that have been loaded the same way, day after day, for years.

Then there's the sport. Narellan Sports Hub on Porrende Street is one of South-West Sydney's largest multi-sport complexes: 44 netball courts plus a synthetic athletics track, hosting netball, athletics, rugby league, hockey and cycling 7. A lot of what we see through winter comes straight off those courts.

We see people from across the surrounding area: Narellan, Harrington Park, Narellan Vale, Currans Hill, Mount Annan, Elderslie, Spring Farm, Smeaton Grange, Kirkham, Gregory Hills, Gledswood Hills, Oran Park and Catherine Field.

Seeing your GP and your physio in the same building

Because the clinic is inside a general practice, the referral conversation happens in one place. The medical centre has GPs onsite alongside dietetics, podiatry, exercise physiology, psychology and pathology collection 1, so if your GP wants imaging, a management plan, or a second opinion before you start rehab, you're not driving across town to organise it.

You don't need to be a patient of the medical centre to see us. Plenty of people book in with us directly and keep their own GP elsewhere.

What to expect from us

Every appointment here is one-on-one with your physiotherapist for the whole session: no rotating between beds, no being handed to someone else halfway through.

Every physiotherapist working here is registered with AHPRA, which is a legal requirement for anyone using the title. Well Motion is a registered NDIS provider, and our principal physiotherapist, Ahmed Elsayed, is a SIRA-approved physiotherapist, so WorkCover and CTP claims can be managed here rather than referred on. If you're sorting out NDIS supports locally, SSI is the NDIA's Local Area Coordination partner for the Camden LGA 8.

Start from where it hurts

Not sure what you're dealing with, or whether physiotherapy is even the right call? Two of the most common reasons people book in here:

Neck pain

desk work, driving, sleeping awkwardly, or a strain that hasn't settled the way you expected.

Vertigo and dizziness

often treatable with physiotherapy, and often not recognised as something a physio can help with at all.

FAQs

What does a physio appointment cost?

We'll confirm the current fee with you when you book, so there are no surprises at the desk. If you have private health extras cover, you can claim on the spot through HICAPS and pay only the gap. Session lengths, payment methods and what to bring are on our FAQs page.

Is physio covered by Medicare?

Not routinely. Medicare covers physiotherapy through the GP chronic condition management plan pathway, which requires your GP to prepare a management plan and refer you: it's capped at a set number of visits per calendar year, and it's designed for ongoing conditions rather than a one-off strain. Because our clinic sits inside a general practice, that conversation is an easy one to have. Ask your GP whether you're eligible.

Do I need a GP referral to see a physiotherapist?

No, not for a standard appointment: you can book directly with us. A referral is required for Medicare-funded visits under a management plan, for WorkCover claims, and for some NDIS arrangements. If you're unsure which applies to you, call us and we'll talk it through before you book.

How do you know if a physio is any good?

Start with the basics you can check. Registration with AHPRA is mandatory and verifiable. Beyond that, look for relevant approvals for the kind of care you need (SIRA approval for workplace and motor accident claims, NDIS registration for funded supports), and look at whether reviews are recent and consistent rather than just numerous. Then judge the first appointment on whether someone examined you properly and explained what they found in language you understood.
