Mobile Physiotherapy in Catherine Field
Half the street is still a building site, the nearest clinic means getting everyone into the car, and the appointment you booked has slid another week. In Catherine Field the thing that usually stalls a recovery isn't the injury. It's getting to the appointment. So we bring the appointment to you.
Well Motion brings mobile physiotherapy to Catherine Field (your lounge room, the garage, the back yard or your workplace), using the same structured, root-cause approach we use in our Mount Annan and Narellan clinics. Both are a short drive from here, so coming in stays a realistic option if you'd prefer.
Catherine Field sits in the Camden local government area, in Sydney's Macarthur region, and it's mid-transformation: a named precinct in the NSW Government's South West Growth Area, fast-tracked so development runs ahead of the standard program 3. In November 2025 the Government announced the rezoning of the 164-hectare Springfield Road precinct to allow up to 3,000 new homes, with sporting fields, walking paths and a neighbourhood centre alongside 2. A new high school is planned for neighbouring Leppington, opening in 2027 2.
One thing here changes how we work. Across the combined Leppington-Catherine Field area, 50.7% of households use a language other than English, against 29.5% statewide: Arabic, Nepali, Urdu, Hindi and Italian most commonly 1. That matters more in a home visit than a clinic room. We slow down, we check an exercise has landed rather than just been nodded at, and we're glad to work with a family member translating or an interpreter you've arranged. Tell us beforehand and we'll plan for it.
It's a young area too: median age 33 against 39 for New South Wales, and 10.1% of residents children under five, nearly double the 5.8% statewide 1. Much of what we drive out to is what busy young households produce: backs worn down by carrying a toddler, first serious sporting injuries, postnatal recovery. Treating you at home means we see the actual stairs, the actual chair and the actual half-finished driveway, which usually makes the plan better. Our mobile physiotherapy page shows how a visit runs.
Areas We Cover
Catherine Field, including the newer estates and the streets still being finished. For directions, Catherine Field Community Hall is the landmark most people know, open seven days, with tennis and multipurpose courts alongside it 4.
Other suburbs in the Camden area have their own pages: Oran Park, Leppington and Gregory Hills 8. For everywhere else we reach across South-West Sydney and the Macarthur region, see the full service areas list.
Most of what we do here is booked in advance, around school runs and shift work. But things don't always break down between nine and five: a back that seizes on a Sunday night, a post-operative setback that can't wait until Monday. Our 24/7 emergency mobile physiotherapy service covers this area. If something is serious, an emergency department is still the right call, and we'll say so.
NDIS & WorkCover Support
Well Motion is a registered NDIS provider (4-KPN4WRT), a business-wide registration, not a Catherine Field-specific one, and it's checkable. The NDIS Commission's public register lists Well Motion Pty Ltd as approved, in force until 18 September 2028, with therapeutic supports among the approved registration groups and a single outlet recorded as mobile 5. We work with plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed participants here (at home, at school, or alongside a day program), and we handle the paperwork. More on our NDIS physiotherapy page.
This isn't an area with unusually high reported health need: across the combined Leppington-Catherine Field area every long-term health condition sits below the New South Wales rate, arthritis 6.3% and asthma 6.0% among them 1. We won't dress that up into a story about demand. But if you or your child is one of those people, the registration is real and the coverage is here.
For a workplace injury, Ahmed Elsayed holds SIRA approval number 22498 for the NSW workers compensation scheme. A physiotherapist must hold prior SIRA approval, plus general AHPRA registration, to treat under that scheme 6. That approval belongs to him as an individual practitioner, not to the business, which is why it travels to your front door. The claims side is covered on our WorkCover & CTP physiotherapy page.
FAQs
How much is 1 hour of physiotherapy?
A home visit is priced differently to a clinic appointment, because travel sits on top of the treatment hour rather than inside it. The price of a mobile visit depends on your location and when the visit happens: during business hours, on a weekend or on a public holiday. For NDIS participants, sessions are priced within the NDIS pricing guidelines, and a travel fee and travel time also apply. If your sessions are funded through an NDIS plan or an accepted workers compensation claim, you generally won't be paying out of pocket at all. Rather than quote an industry average, get in touch for the exact figure for your address and funding.
What are the three main types of physiotherapy?
There's no official list of three. Physiotherapy is usually grouped by what's being treated: musculoskeletal work covers joints, muscles and tendons and is the bulk of what we see here; neurological physiotherapy works with the brain, spinal cord and nerves; and rehabilitation after surgery is its own area. Continence and pelvic health is a fourth 7, and paediatric physiotherapy is often counted separately; in an area this young 1, it's the one we're asked about most.
Is physio fully covered by Medicare?
No. Medicare covers physiotherapy only in particular circumstances: for certain conditions, where a doctor has referred you and you have a GP chronic condition management plan in place. Some private health policies cover it too 7. Outside those, it's paid privately or funded another way: an NDIS plan, or an accepted workers compensation claim. Your GP is the right person to confirm what applies to you. You don't need a referral to see a physiotherapist 7; a referral is about funding, not access.
What is a red flag in physiotherapy?
A red flag is a sign or symptom suggesting something other than a straightforward musculoskeletal problem: something needing medical assessment rather than hands-on treatment. Physiotherapists screen for these at the first appointment. If you have unexplained weight loss, fever, pain that's unrelenting at night or unchanged by position, loss of bladder or bowel control, or new numbness or weakness spreading through a limb, please seek urgent medical review before you book a physio session. If that appears while you're already with us, we'll stop and refer you on.
