Mobile Physiotherapy Kemps Creek
Well Motion doesn't have a clinic you can walk into in Kemps Creek. We come to you. A physiotherapist arrives at your door with the equipment a proper session needs, and works through the same structured, root-cause approach our patients get in our Engadine, Mount Annan, Narellan/Harrington Park and Appin clinics.
Kemps Creek sits in the Penrith local government area: council lists it in its East Ward 1, not in Liverpool or Fairfield. It's a small, established place rather than a new estate: 2,121 people at the 2021 Census, a median age of 44, and 595 occupied private dwellings, 91.9% of them separate houses 2. Acreage blocks and long driveways, not apartment blocks.
It's also the suburb the Mamre Road industrial precinct is being built straight through.
What a mobile physiotherapy visit in Kemps Creek looks like
A first visit runs like a full clinic appointment, just in your space. We talk through what happened and what you're trying to get back to, assess properly, treat hands-on where that's right, and leave you with a plan you can carry out between sessions, not a printout of generic exercises.
Access is straightforward. Nine in ten occupied dwellings here are separate houses 2: no lifts to book, no intercoms to explain. We park, we knock, we get started.
Full service detail is on our Mobile & In-Home Physiotherapy page. If something's happened after hours and can't wait until morning, our 24/7 emergency mobile service covers Kemps Creek too.
Two populations, one road
The Mamre Road Precinct was rezoned in June 2020: about 850 hectares of industrial land, expected to carry roughly 5,200 construction jobs and up to 17,000 ongoing jobs 3. That build-out is inside the suburb, not near it: Penrith Council is running planning agreements for State Significant Development at 657 to 769 and 788 to 882 Mamre Road, Kemps Creek 4.
What makes Kemps Creek unusual is how close the two sit: the acreage homes and the warehouses are neighbours.
So there are two very different patients on the same road: long-term residents and the people caring for them at home, and the workforce building and running the precinct, carrying the backs, shoulders and knees that come with manual handling, concreting and warehouse work. Both get the same thing: a proper assessment, an honest explanation of what's driving the problem, and a plan built around what you need to get back to.
The road matters too. Around 20,000 vehicles use Mamre Road every day and that volume is expected to double by 2041; the current 6.1-kilometre upgrade runs to Kerrs Road, Kemps Creek, with major construction finishing in 2029 5. Travelling to an appointment through that costs real time. A home visit removes it.
Areas We Cover
All of Kemps Creek, postcode 2178: the Mamre Road corridor, Elizabeth Drive and the acreage streets either side.
Several neighbouring suburbs have their own page: Mount Vernon, Badgerys Creek, Luddenham, Austral, Rossmore, Bringelly and Horsley Park. Everywhere we travel is on our service areas page.
NDIS & WorkCover Support
Well Motion is a registered NDIS provider, number 4-KPN4WRT, working directly with Kemps Creek participants and support coordinators across plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed funding.
That matters here. At the 2021 Census, 185 Kemps Creek residents (10.4% of everyone aged 15 and over) were providing unpaid assistance to a person with a disability, a long-term health condition, or because of old age 2. In a suburb of 2,121 people, that's a lot of care already happening at home. Because sessions happen in your home, therapy takes place where you need to move (your own hallway, your own steps, your own bathroom), which makes goal-setting more concrete, and gives the person doing the caring something practical to work with. Full programme detail is on our NDIS Physiotherapy page.
For a workplace injury, Ahmed Elsayed holds SIRA approval 22498, covering direct WorkCover claims, so treatment can be billed through the claim rather than out of your pocket. With this much construction and warehousing along Mamre Road, a home or workplace visit also means not losing half a day to travel. The full process, including CTP claims, is on our WorkCover & CTP Physiotherapy page.
FAQs
How do I get physio at home?
You book a mobile appointment and we come to you. Tell us what's happened and where you are, and a physiotherapist travels to your home or workplace with the equipment a proper session needs. You don't need to own anything or set up beforehand. Book a visit, or contact us if you'd rather talk it through first.
What conditions does physiotherapy treat?
A wide range: back and neck pain, sports and soft-tissue injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, work and manual-handling injuries, and the mobility, balance and strength work inside an NDIS plan. To start from where it hurts, our Injury Finder goes by body region.
How much is an hour of physiotherapy?
It depends on the visit type and how it's funded: private, NDIS and accepted WorkCover claims are billed differently. A quoted figure might not apply to you, so contact us for the cost before you book.
Can I get 5 free physiotherapy visits from Medicare?
Not quite as it's usually described: Medicare doesn't cover physiotherapy in full. There's a GP-managed care-plan pathway that can subsidise a limited number of sessions a year for eligible patients with a chronic condition, and a gap payment usually still applies. The plan covers up to 5 sessions per calendar year, or up to 10 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 6. NDIS and WorkCover work differently: for eligible participants and accepted claims, those routes can cover mobile sessions without a gap.
Does Well Motion have a clinic in Kemps Creek?
No. There's no Well Motion clinic or reception you can walk into here. Everything is delivered as a mobile or in-home visit, from our Engadine, Mount Annan, Narellan/Harrington Park and Appin clinics. That's how the service is meant to work. If you'd prefer a clinic appointment, contact us and we'll tell you which one is easiest to get to.
