Mobile Physiotherapy in Luddenham
Well Motion has no clinic in Luddenham, and there isn't one coming. What we have instead is a physiotherapist who drives to you with the equipment a real session needs, and works through the same structured, root-cause approach our patients get in our Engadine, Mount Annan, Narellan/Harrington Park and Appin clinics.
That isn't a compromise out here. At the 2021 Census, Luddenham had 1,927 residents in 577 private dwellings, median age 37 3. A locality that size was never going to support a walk-in clinic. A mobile service doesn't mind how far apart the driveways are.
What a mobile physiotherapy visit here looks like
A first appointment runs the way a clinic one would, just in your space. We talk through what happened and what you're trying to get back to, assess properly, treat hands-on where that's the right call, and leave you with a plan you can carry out between visits, not a printout of generic exercises.
Being seen at home has a practical upside out here. We see the steps you climb, the ute seat you spend half your day in, and the shed or paddock you're trying to get back to working in. That makes the plan more specific, not less.
How the service runs is set out on our Mobile & In-Home Physiotherapy page. If something happens after hours and can't wait until morning, our 24/7 emergency mobile service covers Sydney, Luddenham included. If it's serious, an emergency department is the right call, and we'll tell you so.
The airport next door
Luddenham isn't near the new airport. Part of it is the airport. The NSW Government is currently consulting on naming a new suburb, Wianamatta, over the airport site, a change that would amend the boundaries of Badgerys Creek, Bringelly, Greendale and Luddenham so the whole airport sits in one suburb. That consultation closes 10 October 2026 2.
The airport has stopped being a construction project. It opened to freight on 26 July 2026 and opens to passengers on 25 October 2026 1. The work on your doorstep has shifted with it: less concrete and formwork, more aviation, freight and ground handling, logistics and retail. Those are shift-work bodies: repetitive lifting and reaching, long hours on hard floors, and a back that gives out at 4am rather than 4pm.
Government figures put the jobs created across the whole project at more than 12,800, around half of them going to local workers 1. That's a project-wide number, not a Luddenham one, but it tells you what a lot of people here now do all day, and what that does to shoulders, backs and knees.
Areas We Cover
All of Luddenham. And because the suburb's own boundary is currently under review 2, it's better put this way: we travel to you anywhere in and around Luddenham, whichever line your address ends up on.
Neighbouring suburbs have their own coverage pages: Badgerys Creek, Bringelly, Greendale, Kemps Creek, Mount Vernon and Rossmore. Everywhere we travel is listed on our service areas page.
NDIS & WorkCover Support
Well Motion is a registered NDIS provider, number 4-KPN4WRT. We work with Luddenham participants and support coordinators across plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed funding. Home sessions matter more than usual here, because therapy happens where you need to move around: your own steps, your own hallway, your own bathroom. That makes the goals concrete, not abstract. Full programme detail is on our NDIS Physiotherapy page.
For a workplace injury, Ahmed Elsayed holds SIRA approval 22498, which covers direct WorkCover claims, so treatment can be billed through the claim rather than out of your pocket. With an operating airport and freight precinct on the doorstep, a home visit also means not losing half a day travelling around a roster. The full process, including CTP claims, is on our WorkCover & CTP Physiotherapy page.
One practical note. A home visit is straightforward. Attending you at a workplace inside a secure, operating airport precinct isn't something anyone can just turn up and do. Ask us first and we'll work out what's possible.
FAQs
How do you get physio at home?
You book it like any other appointment (tell us the address, what's going on and when suits you) and a physiotherapist comes to you with the treatment table and equipment. It's a full appointment, not a stripped-back one: assessment, hands-on treatment, and an exercise plan you keep. You don't need to own equipment or set a room up beforehand.
How much is 1 hour of physiotherapy?
It depends on the visit type and how it's funded: private, NDIS and accepted WorkCover claims are billed differently, and for a mobile visit travel sits on top of the treatment hour. Rather than quote a figure that might not apply to you, contact us and we'll give you your cost before you book.
Is physio fully covered by Medicare?
No, Medicare doesn't cover physiotherapy in full. There's a GP-managed care-plan pathway that can subsidise a limited number of sessions in a calendar year, and a gap payment usually still applies. The plan covers up to 5 sessions per calendar year, or up to 10 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 4. NDIS and WorkCover work differently: for eligible participants and accepted claims, those routes can cover mobile sessions without a gap.
Will the NDIS pay for physiotherapy?
It can, where physiotherapy is funded in your plan. Well Motion is a registered NDIS provider (4-KPN4WRT) and works with plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed funding. If you're not sure what your plan covers, contact us and we'll check first.
Does Well Motion have a clinic in Luddenham?
No. There's no Well Motion clinic or reception you can walk into in Luddenham. Everything here is a mobile or in-home visit, run out of our Engadine, Mount Annan, Narellan/Harrington Park and Appin clinics. If you'd rather be seen in a clinic, contact us and we'll tell you which one is easiest to get to.
