Mobile Physiotherapy in Rossmore
Well Motion doesn't have a clinic you can walk into in Rossmore. We come to you instead. A physiotherapist drives out with the equipment a proper session needs, and works through the same structured, root-cause approach our patients get in our Engadine, Mount Annan, Narellan/Harrington Park and Appin clinics.
Rossmore sits between Bringelly and Leppington, out where the estates thin back into paddocks. It's a longer drive to any of our clinics than most of the area we cover, and that's where a mobile service earns its keep.
It also straddles a council line, with part of the suburb under the City of Liverpool and part under Camden. A mobile service doesn't care which side your driveway is on. We cover all of Rossmore.
What a mobile physiotherapy visit in Rossmore looks like
A first visit runs like a full clinic appointment, just in your own space. We talk through what happened and what you're trying to get back to, assess properly, treat hands-on where that's the right call, and leave you with a plan to carry out between sessions, not a printout of generic exercises.
Access out here is about as easy as it gets. In the 2021 Census, 97.5% of Rossmore's occupied private dwellings were separate houses (594 of 609) 1. No lifts, no intercoms, no street parking to circle for. We pull into the driveway, knock, and get started. You don't need a doctor's referral to see a physiotherapist 3; bring one if you have it, since it can change how the visit is funded.
Full service detail is on our Mobile & In-Home Physiotherapy page. If something's happened after hours, our 24/7 emergency mobile service covers Sydney, Rossmore included.
A quieter, older, more spread-out suburb
Rossmore isn't a growth estate. The 2021 Census counted 2,241 people here, a median age of 40, an average household of 3.4 people, and more than four in five households being families 1. It reads noticeably older than the newer estates either side of it.
That shapes the work. Alongside the usual back, neck and shoulder complaints, a lot of what we see out here is the accumulated stuff: knees and hips that have had a few decades on them, balance on uneven ground, recovery after a joint replacement, and the strain of maintaining a property rather than a courtyard. And it's easier to rehabilitate on your own gravel and your own back steps than on a clinic floor that's nothing like them.
Areas We Cover
All of Rossmore, postcode 2557: Liverpool side and Camden side, along Bringelly Road and out through the smaller lanes and acreage blocks.
Several surrounding suburbs have their own coverage page: Bringelly, Leppington, Austral, Catherine Field and Kemps Creek. Everywhere we travel is listed on our service areas page.
NDIS & WorkCover Support
Well Motion is a registered NDIS provider, provider number 4-KPN4WRT. We work directly with Rossmore participants and support coordinators across plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed funding. Because sessions happen at home, therapy takes place where you need to move around (your own hallway, your own steps, your own bathroom), which usually makes goal-setting far more concrete than a clinic room allows. That matters more where the distance to a clinic is itself part of the barrier. Full programme detail is on our NDIS Physiotherapy page. Settlement Services International is the NDIS Local Area Coordination partner for both of Rossmore's council areas, so the coordination pathway is the same whichever side of the boundary you're on.
For a workplace injury, Ahmed Elsayed holds SIRA approval 22498, which covers direct WorkCover claims, so treatment can be billed through the claim rather than out of your pocket. Out here that also means not losing half a day to travel on top of the time you've already lost. The full process, including CTP claims, is on our WorkCover & CTP Physiotherapy page.
FAQs
How do I get physio at home?
Tell us what's happened and roughly where in Rossmore you are. We'll book a time, and a physiotherapist drives out with the gear needed to run a real session. You don't need a referral 3, you don't need to own equipment, and you don't need to clear a room. Book a visit online, or contact us to talk it through first.
How much does an hour of physiotherapy cost?
It depends on the visit type and how it's funded: private, NDIS and accepted WorkCover claims are all billed differently. Rather than quote a figure that might not apply to you, contact us and we'll tell you the cost before you book.
Can I get 5 free physiotherapy visits from Medicare?
Medicare doesn't cover physiotherapy in full. There's a GP-managed pathway that can subsidise a limited number of sessions in a calendar year, but it only applies if your doctor has referred you and you have a GP chronic condition management plan in place, and a gap payment usually still applies 3. The plan covers up to 5 sessions per calendar year, or up to 10 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 4. NDIS and accepted WorkCover claims work differently and can cover mobile sessions without a gap.
Will the NDIS pay for physiotherapy?
It can, where it's funded in your plan. NDIS funding can only be used on things that are NDIS supports, that relate to your disability, and that are in line with your plan 2, so it depends on your own plan, not a general rule. Well Motion is a registered NDIS provider (4-KPN4WRT). If you're unsure what your plan covers, contact us and we'll check first, or read our NDIS Physiotherapy page.
Does Well Motion have a clinic in Rossmore?
No. There's no Well Motion clinic or reception you can walk into in Rossmore. Everything here is delivered as a mobile or in-home visit. If you'd prefer a clinic appointment, our Mount Annan and Narellan clinics are closest. Contact us if you want a hand working out which is the easier drive.
