Mobile Physiotherapy Horsley Park

Horsley Park isn't a suburb you pop out in. The blocks are big, there's no train station, and households here run an average of three cars per dwelling, roughly double the Greater Sydney norm 1. That works fine until an injury takes driving away from you.

Well Motion doesn't run a clinic here. What we bring to Horsley Park is the physiotherapist: one of our team arrives at your place with the equipment a proper session needs, and works through the same structured, root-cause approach our patients get in our Engadine, Mount Annan, Narellan/Harrington Park and Appin clinics.

This is a semi-rural pocket of the Fairfield LGA, postcode 2175, about 39 km west of the city, with Western Sydney Parklands along its northern edge 2, 100 hectares of working farmland inside it 3 and the Sydney International Equestrian Centre off Saxony Road 4. Horses, farm work and long driveways produce their own injuries, none of them convenient to a waiting room.

What a home visit in Horsley Park looks like

A first visit runs like a full clinic appointment, just in your space: we talk through what happened, assess properly, treat hands-on where that's right, and leave you with a plan you can do between sessions.

Access here is as straightforward as it gets in Sydney. Horsley Park is almost entirely detached housing (96.7% separate houses, 1.3% flats 1), so it's driveway parking, a ground floor to work on and room to move. No intercom codes, no visitor parking rules, no lift to organise.

Full service detail is on our Mobile & In-Home Physiotherapy page. If something's happened outside hours and can't wait, our 24/7 after-hours emergency mobile service covers Horsley Park too.

An older suburb, carrying more than one thing at once

Horsley Park's median age is 45, and 12.2% of residents are 65 or over 1. The health picture sharpens that: arthritis affects 10.7% of people here against 8.4% across NSW, diabetes 7.3% against 4.8%, heart disease 5.6% against 3.9%, and 3.9% report three or more long-term conditions at once against 3.0% statewide 5.

In practice, a lot of the knees, hips and shoulders we see here aren't presenting on their own. They sit alongside something else that changes how hard you can push and how quickly tissue recovers, so we work with the whole picture, not just the sore part.

If your work is physical

Horsley Park's workforce is hands-on: technicians and trades workers are 14.3% of local workers, machinery operators and drivers 9.6% and labourers 7.4%, and the biggest industries here are road freight transport, plumbing and concreting 6.

That work has a recognisable injury pattern: repeated lifting, twisting under load, long hours in a cab or on concrete, and the lower back, shoulder and knee problems that follow. They rarely start with one dramatic moment. They build, get worked through, and then stop you. If it happened at work, the visit can happen at home after a shift.

Areas We Cover

Horsley Park itself, postcode 2175: the acreage streets, the properties along The Horsley Drive and Saxony Road, and everything back toward the Parklands boundary.

If you're closer to a surrounding suburb, each has its own page: Abbotsbury, Wetherill Park, Kemps Creek, Mount Vernon and Cecil Hills. You can see everywhere we travel on our service areas page.

NDIS & WorkCover Support

Well Motion is a registered NDIS provider, provider number 4-KPN4WRT. We work with participants and support coordinators directly, and with plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed funding.

That matters here. 13.1% of Horsley Park residents aged 15 and over provided unpaid assistance to someone with a disability, a health condition or because of age in the fortnight before the last Census, above both the NSW and national rates 7. In many of those households someone is already doing the driving and the appointment-juggling; when the physiotherapist comes to the house, that's one trip nobody has to organise. Full programme detail is on our NDIS Physiotherapy page.

For a workplace injury, Ahmed Elsayed holds SIRA approval 22498, which covers direct WorkCover claims, so treatment can be billed through the claim rather than paid for up front. To get started, we need a referral from your doctor and a copy of your Certificate of Capacity. The full process, including CTP claims, is on our WorkCover & CTP Physiotherapy page.

FAQs

How much is 1 hour of physiotherapy?

It depends which funding route applies. A private session can usually be claimed against private health extras; an NDIS-funded session is invoiced against your plan; an accepted WorkCover claim is billed through the claim. Contact us and we'll tell you what applies before you book.

Is physio fully covered by Medicare?

For most people, no. A GP-managed care plan can subsidise a limited number of sessions in a calendar year, and a gap payment usually still applies. The plan covers up to 5 sessions per calendar year, or up to 10 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 8. NDIS and WorkCover work differently: for eligible participants and accepted claims, those routes can cover mobile sessions without a gap.

Will the NDIS pay for physiotherapy?

It can, where physiotherapy sits in your plan. We're a registered NDIS provider (4-KPN4WRT), so we can invoice against plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed funding. The detail is on our NDIS Physiotherapy page.

Does Well Motion have a clinic in Horsley Park?

No, there's no Well Motion clinic you can walk into here. Everything we do in Horsley Park is a mobile or in-home visit, delivered from our Engadine, Mount Annan, Narellan/Harrington Park and Appin clinics. This suburb isn't short of physiotherapy if a clinic visit suits you. What we offer is the other option: the appointment happening at your place, which matters most when driving is the hard part. If you'd rather be seen in a clinic, contact us and we'll tell you which of ours is closest.
