NDIS Physiotherapy Fairfield

If your NDIS plan includes physiotherapy and you live in Fairfield, Canley Vale, Cabramatta or Bonnyrigg, getting to the appointment is often the hardest part of it. Well Motion is a registered NDIS provider (4-KPN4WRT), and across the Fairfield area we come to you: at home, in the backyard, or wherever the session makes sense for you that week.

One thing to know before you book: Well Motion has no clinic in Fairfield. Our rooms are in Engadine, Mount Annan, Narellan and Appin, which is a real drive from this side of Sydney. So here, we work mobile only. One physiotherapist, at your address, at a time that fits around school pick-up, shift work or your support worker's roster.

Around seven in ten people in the Fairfield area speak a language other than English at home, the highest proportion of any local government area in Sydney. We plan for that rather than working around it. We explain what we're doing in plain terms, we write the home program down so it can be read at your own pace or shared with family, and a family member or support worker is welcome to sit in and translate.

NDIS Support in Fairfield

There are three ways an NDIS plan can be managed: self-managed, plan-managed, or managed by the NDIA 1. We work with participants across all three. If you're self-managed, we invoice you directly. If you're plan-managed, we invoice your plan manager. If your plan is NDIA-managed, we claim through the agency as a registered provider.

A first visit starts with your plan, not with a treatment table. We look at the goals already written into it (getting up the back steps unaided, holding a job, walking to the shops in summer without stopping) and work out which ones physiotherapy can help with. You get a home program built around your own house and your own week, and written progress notes you can take to your plan review or hand to your support coordinator.

Fairfield sits in Sydney's western heat corridor, and summer here is measurably hotter than it is closer to the coast. So we book around the worst of the afternoon heat and adjust what a session looks like on a 40-degree day.

The broader detail of how we run NDIS physiotherapy (what we treat, and what to have ready before a first session) sits on our NDIS Physiotherapy page.

FAQs

Will NDIS pay for physio?

Physiotherapy can be funded under the NDIS when it relates to your disability and supports the goals in your plan. Whether it's funded in your plan depends on what's in it and how it's managed 1, so the fastest way to find out is to go through it with us or with your plan manager. We can't promise a funding outcome, and be careful of anyone who does.

What is the NDIS hourly rate for physiotherapy?

The NDIA sets a national price limit for physiotherapy in its pricing arrangements and price limits, and updates it annually 2. Well Motion charges within that limit. We'll confirm the exact rate for your session in writing before we start, so nothing on the invoice is a surprise.

Can you work with my support coordinator or plan manager?

Yes. Tell us who they are when you get in touch and we'll send invoices and progress reports straight to them. If your support coordinator wants to sit in on the first visit or set the reporting format, just let us know.

Book an NDIS Physiotherapy Visit in Fairfield, or get in touch and tell us what's in your plan.

We'll tell you plainly whether we're the right fit.
