Mobile Physiotherapy Edensor Park
Edensor Park doesn't have a physiotherapy clinic, and neither do we. That's the point of this page. A physiotherapist comes to your front door with the assessment and treatment equipment a proper session needs, and works through the same structured, root-cause approach our patients get in our Engadine, Mount Annan, Narellan/Harrington Park and Appin clinics.
It's a bigger suburb than it gets credit for: 10,279 people at the last Census 1, in the City of Fairfield 2, postcode 2176 6. It's far enough from every walk-in clinic we run that getting to one is a real obstacle.
What a mobile visit in Edensor Park looks like
A first visit runs like a full clinic appointment, just in your space. We talk through what happened and what you're trying to get back to, assess properly, treat hands-on where that's the right call, and leave you with a plan you can do between sessions, not a printout of generic exercises.
Households here are large: 3.4 people on average, across 2,787 families 1. With two primary schools inside the suburb, Edensor Park Public School and Governor Philip King Public School 7,8, sessions get built around the school run and the shift roster, not around finding a park near a clinic at 2pm on a Tuesday.
Full service detail is on our Mobile & In-Home Physiotherapy page. If something's happened outside normal hours and can't wait, our 24/7 after-hours emergency mobile service covers Sydney, including Edensor Park.
When you're the one doing the caring
At the last Census, 1,123 Edensor Park residents (13.2% of everyone aged 15 and over) were providing unpaid assistance to someone with a disability, a health condition, or because of their age 1. Roughly one adult in eight, already looking after someone.
If that's you, you already know the hardest part of an appointment usually isn't the appointment. It's the transport, the wheelchair in the boot, the half-day out of a week that didn't have one spare. A home visit removes that piece for both of you, and we show whoever is doing the daily supporting exactly what to help with between sessions, in the rooms where it has to happen.
Arthritis, diabetes and getting back after an operation
Most people in Edensor Park report no long-term health condition at all: 65.9% 1. Among those who do, two of the most common are ones physiotherapy has a role in: arthritis (7.1%) and diabetes (6.9%) 1.
Both respond to the same unglamorous thing: the right amount of the right movement, sustained. That's what exercise prescription is: a loading plan built for your joints and your week. Where balance or a recent fall is part of the picture, falls prevention work is far more useful done in the home, where the hazards are: the hallway, the step to the laundry, the shower.
The same goes after an operation. Post-surgical rehabilitation after a knee or hip replacement is when travelling is hardest and consistency matters most. And if it's a weekend sporting injury instead (a rolled ankle, a pulled hamstring), you get the same assessment you'd get in the clinic: we look for what caused it, not just where it hurts today.
Areas We Cover
Edensor Park itself, postcode 2176: every residential street in the suburb.
Nearby suburbs include Abbotsbury, Bossley Park, Greenfield Park, Bonnyrigg, Cecil Hills and Bonnyrigg Heights. Two of those have their own page: Abbotsbury and Cecil Hills. We travel to the rest as well. Just say where you are when you book. Fairfield has its own page for that end of the LGA, and everywhere we travel is listed on our service areas page.
NDIS & WorkCover Support
Well Motion is a registered NDIS provider, provider number 4-KPN4WRT. We work with participants and support coordinators directly, and with plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed funding. If your funding is NDIA-managed, that registration is what matters most: you can choose your provider, but it has to be a registered one 5. Because there's no clinic here to travel to, everything happens where you live. Full programme detail is on our NDIS Physiotherapy page.
For a workplace injury, Ahmed Elsayed holds SIRA workers compensation approval 22498, a number issued to him individually and valid at every location he works 4. That covers direct WorkCover claims, so treatment can be billed through the claim rather than paid up front. To get started, we need a referral from your doctor and a copy of your Certificate of Capacity. The full process, including CTP claims, is on our WorkCover & CTP Physiotherapy page.
FAQs
How much is mobile physiotherapy?
It depends which funding route applies. A private session can usually be claimed against private health extras cover; an NDIS-funded session is invoiced against your plan; an accepted WorkCover or CTP claim is billed through the claim. Contact us with your situation before you book and we'll tell you plainly what applies.
Can I get 5 free physiotherapy sessions from Medicare?
Not free, but subsidised. If your GP puts you on a chronic condition management plan, you can access up to five individual allied health services in a calendar year 3, physiotherapy included. Medicare pays a set rebate for each and a gap payment usually still applies, so ask your GP what the plan covers before you assume the sessions cost nothing.
Are you a registered NDIS provider for Edensor Park participants?
Yes, provider number 4-KPN4WRT. That matters: NDIA-managed participants can choose their own providers, but only registered ones 5. Plan-managed and self-managed participants have more options, and we work with those too. What's covered is set out on our NDIS Physiotherapy page.
Does Well Motion have a clinic in Edensor Park?
No. There's no Well Motion clinic or reception you can walk into in Edensor Park. Everything here is a mobile or in-home visit, delivered from our Engadine, Mount Annan, Narellan/Harrington Park and Appin clinics. If you'd rather be seen in a clinic, contact us and we'll tell you which one is easiest to reach.
