Mobile Physiotherapy in Leppington
Well Motion doesn't have a clinic you can walk into in Leppington. We come to you instead. A physiotherapist arrives at your house with the equipment a proper session needs, and works through the same structured, root-cause approach our patients get in our Engadine, Mount Annan, Narellan/Harrington Park and Appin clinics.
Leppington sits on a council line. Most of the suburb falls inside Camden, the north-western corner sits in the City of Liverpool, and the Leppington Town Centre precinct spans both local government areas 2. A mobile service doesn't care which side of that line you sit on. We cover the whole of Leppington, either side of the boundary.
It's a young suburb too. The 2021 Census counted 9,423 people in Leppington, a median age of 32, around a quarter of residents under 15, and an average household of 3.2 people 1. That shapes the work: junior sport, post-natal recovery, the back and shoulder loads that come with lifting small children all day, and the injuries that come home from a work site.
What a mobile physiotherapy visit in Leppington looks like
A first visit runs like a full clinic appointment, just in your space. We talk through what happened and what you're trying to get back to, assess properly, treat hands-on where that's the right call, and leave you with a plan you can carry out between sessions, not a printout of generic exercises.
Access is easy here. In the 2021 Census, 95.1% of Leppington's occupied dwellings were separate houses 1: no building lifts to book, no intercoms to explain. We park, we knock, we get started.
Full service detail is on our Mobile & In-Home Physiotherapy page. If something's happened after hours and can't wait until morning, our 24/7 emergency mobile service covers Sydney, Leppington included.
A suburb that's still being built
Leppington is in the middle of a long build. In June 2026 the NSW Government finalised the rezoning of the 440-hectare Leppington Town Centre precinct, allowing for around 11,500 new homes over the next twenty years and up to 11,000 jobs 2. Growth is concentrated around Leppington train station, so homes, jobs, services and open space sit within walking distance, under a plan prepared jointly by Liverpool and Camden councils 3.
That means two very different patients on the same street: households who moved in years ago and watched the paddocks turn into estates, and the people doing the building (tradies carrying the shoulders, backs and knees that come with it). Both get the same thing: a proper assessment, an honest explanation of what's driving the problem, and a plan built around what you need to get back to.
Areas We Cover
All of Leppington, postcode 2179: Camden side and Liverpool side, newer estates and established streets either side of Camden Valley Way.
Several surrounding suburbs have their own coverage page: Austral, Rossmore, Catherine Field, Denham Court, Edmondson Park, Horningsea Park and West Hoxton. Liverpool does too. Everywhere we travel is listed on our service areas page.
NDIS & WorkCover Support
Well Motion is a registered NDIS provider, provider number 4-KPN4WRT. We work directly with Leppington participants and support coordinators across plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed funding. Because sessions happen in your home, therapy takes place in the space you need to move around in (your own hallway, your own steps, your own bathroom), which usually makes goal-setting more concrete than a clinic room allows. Full programme detail is on our NDIS Physiotherapy page.
For a workplace injury, Ahmed Elsayed holds SIRA approval 22498, covering direct WorkCover claims, so treatment can be billed through the claim rather than out of your pocket. In a suburb with this much construction in it, a home visit also means not losing another half-day travelling to an appointment. The full process, including CTP claims, is on our WorkCover & CTP Physiotherapy page.
FAQs
What does mobile physiotherapy mean?
The physiotherapist travels to you instead of you travelling to a clinic. We come to your home or workplace with the assessment and treatment equipment needed to run a proper session, and treat you there. You don't need to own equipment or clear a room.
What conditions does mobile physio treat?
The same range a clinic does. Sports and soft-tissue injuries, back and neck pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, work injuries, and the mobility and strength work inside an NDIS plan. Not sure whether yours qualifies? Contact us: we'll tell you if you're better off seeing someone else.
How much is a physio home visit?
It depends on the visit type and how it's funded: private, NDIS and accepted WorkCover claims are all billed differently. A quoted figure might not apply to you, so contact us and we'll give you the cost before you book.
Is physiotherapy fully covered by Medicare?
No, Medicare doesn't cover physiotherapy in full. There's a GP-managed care-plan pathway that can subsidise a limited number of sessions in a calendar year, and a gap payment usually still applies. The plan covers up to 5 sessions per calendar year, or up to 10 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 4. NDIS and WorkCover work differently: for eligible participants and accepted claims, those routes can cover mobile sessions without a gap.
Will the NDIS pay for physiotherapy?
It can, where physiotherapy is funded in your plan. Well Motion is a registered NDIS provider (4-KPN4WRT) and works with plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed funding. If you're not sure what your plan covers, contact us and we'll check before you commit to anything.
Does Well Motion have a clinic in Leppington?
No. There's no Well Motion clinic or reception you can walk into in Leppington. Everything here is delivered as a mobile or in-home visit, from our Engadine, Mount Annan, Narellan/Harrington Park and Appin clinics. If you'd prefer a clinic appointment, contact us and we'll tell you which one is easiest to get to.
