Mobile Physiotherapy Moorebank
There are clinics you could walk into in Moorebank. Well Motion isn't one of them. We come to you instead. A physiotherapist arrives at your home, your workplace or wherever you train, brings the gear a proper session needs, and works through the same approach our patients get in our Engadine, Mount Annan, Narellan/Harrington Park and Appin clinics.
Moorebank is one of the more settled parts of the Liverpool council area: about 11,408 people, and a median age of 36 1. A lot of what we see here is the long-running stuff: a back that's been grumbling for two years, or a knee that's fine until you ask something of it.
What a home visit in Moorebank involves
A first visit runs like a full clinic appointment, just in your space. We talk through what happened and what you're trying to get back to, assess properly, treat hands-on where that's the right call, and leave you with a plan you can do between sessions, not a printout of generic exercises.
The practical side is easier here than in most places we travel to. More than four in five Moorebank dwellings are separate houses, and fewer than one in twenty-five is a flat 1, so there's usually a driveway, a front door and a room with enough floor space, and nothing to organise first.
Full detail is on our Mobile & In-Home Physiotherapy page. If something's happened after hours and can't wait until Monday, our 24/7 emergency mobile service covers Sydney, including Moorebank.
If you were hurt at work in the intermodal precinct
The Moorebank Intermodal Precinct is here. National Intermodal, which is wholly owned by the Australian Government 5, describes it as the largest intermodal logistics precinct in Australia, covering over 240 hectares, with two rail terminals and more than 850,000 square metres of warehousing 2.
Freight and logistics work has a predictable injury profile. Lower backs from lifting and manual handling. Shoulders from repeated overhead work. Necks and wrists from long hours in a cab. If you've been hurt on site, what usually derails rehabilitation isn't the injury; it's getting to appointments around a shift roster. A physiotherapist who comes to you removes that.
You don't have to live here for this to apply. If you work in the precinct and live anywhere we travel, we can see you at home, or at work, where your employer is happy for us to.
Weekend sport, and the injuries that come with it
Moorebank Sports Soccer Club has been running since October 1969 and plays out of Hammondville Park on Heathcote Road, just over the suburb boundary 3. Between that and the other football codes played around here, a fair share of what we treat locally comes off a field on a Saturday morning: hamstrings, ankles, knees and groins.
Getting back to sport is a different job from getting out of pain. Pain settles well before the tissue is ready to change direction at full speed, which is when people re-injure themselves. We build the return-to-play work deliberately, and we can do it at the park you play at.
Areas We Cover
Moorebank itself, postcode 2170: the residential streets between Newbridge Road and the Georges River, plus the intermodal precinct to the south.
If you're closer to a surrounding suburb, each has its own coverage page: Liverpool, Casula, Prestons, Lurnea and Middleton Grange. You can see everywhere we travel on our service areas page, and if your suburb isn't listed, ask us anyway.
NDIS & WorkCover Support
Well Motion is a registered NDIS provider, provider number 4-KPN4WRT. We work with participants and support coordinators directly, across plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed funding. For a participant, the in-home model is often the point, not a convenience: therapy done on the steps you use, with the people who support you there to see it. Full detail is on our NDIS Physiotherapy page.
For a workplace injury, including one in the freight precinct, Ahmed Elsayed holds SIRA approval 22498, which covers direct WorkCover claims, so treatment is billed through the claim, not out of your pocket. The full process, including CTP claims, is on our WorkCover & CTP Physiotherapy page.
FAQs
How much is physio at home?
A home visit is priced as a full one-on-one session: the physiotherapist's time, the assessment, the treatment and the plan you're left with, plus the travel to you. The price of a mobile visit depends on your location and when the visit happens: during business hours, on a weekend or on a public holiday. For NDIS participants, sessions are priced within the NDIS pricing guidelines, and a travel fee and travel time also apply. If physiotherapy is funded in your NDIS plan, or you have an accepted WorkCover claim, those routes can cover the session with no gap. Contact us and we'll tell you what you'd pay.
How do I get physio at home?
You don't need a GP referral to see a physiotherapist privately in Australia. You can book directly. Have handy what happened and when, anything you've been told about it, and your funding details if you're going through NDIS or WorkCover.
What conditions can physiotherapy at home treat?
Most of what's treated in a clinic: back and neck pain, shoulder problems, lifting injuries from physical work, sports injuries and return-to-play rehabilitation, recovery after an operation, and the strength work that keeps older people steady on their feet. A home visit is better where the environment matters: if the problem shows up on your own stairs, we'd rather see it there.
Can I get five free physiotherapy visits from Medicare?
Not quite. The premise is a common misunderstanding. There's a GP-managed care plan pathway for people with a chronic condition that subsidises a limited number of allied health sessions a year. Subsidised isn't free: a gap payment usually still applies. The plan covers up to 5 sessions per calendar year, or up to 10 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 4. NDIS and WorkCover funding work differently.
Does Well Motion have a clinic in Moorebank?
No. There's no Well Motion clinic or reception you can walk into here. Everything we offer in Moorebank is a mobile or in-home visit, run out of our Engadine, Mount Annan, Narellan/Harrington Park and Appin clinics. If you'd rather be seen in a clinic, contact us and we'll tell you which is easiest.
