Mobile Physiotherapy in Casula
There's no Well Motion waiting room in Casula, and that isn't the same thing as having no option. We're a mobile service: a physiotherapist drives to you, brings the equipment a proper session needs, and works through the same structured, root-cause approach our patients get in our Engadine, Mount Annan, Narellan/Harrington Park and Appin clinics.
Casula is a settled family suburb rather than a passing-through one: around 16,584 people, a median age of 36, and just over eight in ten households being families 5. That shapes how we schedule here. Sessions get built around school pick-up and shift rosters, in a house where someone else is usually home, not around finding a park outside a clinic at 2pm on a Tuesday.
What a home visit in Casula involves
A first visit runs like a full clinic appointment, just in your space. We talk through what happened and what you're trying to get back to, assess properly, treat hands-on where that's the right call, and leave you with a plan you can do between sessions.
Access is the one local detail worth sorting first. Around 71% of Casula dwellings are separate houses, but close to 25% are semi-detached, row or terrace homes 5, so this isn't a suburb where we can assume driveway-and-front-door every time. If you're in a townhouse with a shared driveway, or a unit with an intercom, say so when you book and we'll sort the parking and entry first, so you don't lose ten minutes of your session to it.
Full service detail sits on our Mobile & In-Home Physiotherapy page. If something's happened outside normal hours, our 24/7 after-hours emergency mobile service covers Sydney, Casula included.
Along the Georges River
Casula sits on the Georges River, and the corridor is unusually good for the part of rehabilitation that happens after we leave. The Weaving Gardens path runs from Glenfield up to Liverpool Powerhouse on the riverbank at 1 Powerhouse Road, and the Casula Parklands walk carries on to the Papermill district on Shepherd Street 7: a flat, measurable route rather than "try to walk more this week".
Casula Parklands covers 22 hectares 7 and is worth a look if you're rebuilding confidence on your feet, or supporting someone who is. The council lists an accessible carousel, inclusive play equipment for all abilities, accessible toilets and shaded picnic shelters, with entry via Powerhouse Road off Shepherd Street or a ten-minute walk from Casula station 6. For a family where one person has a disability and everyone still wants the same afternoon out, that's hard to find, and it's the kind of goal we'd rather build a plan around than a generic exercise sheet.
Areas We Cover
Casula proper, postcode 2170: the streets around Casula station, the Papermill precinct on Shepherd Street, the residential pockets either side of the parklands, and the Georges River corridor.
Casula isn't an afterthought on a coverage list for us: our registered business address sits here in 2170, and the NDIS Commission's public register shows exactly one Well Motion outlet, with its type listed as "Mobile" 1. That doesn't mean a shopfront: there's no reception and nothing to walk into in Casula. It means this is where the business is registered, and everything we deliver here comes to you.
Liverpool has its own page, and you can see everywhere else we travel on our service areas page.
NDIS & WorkCover Support
Well Motion is a registered NDIS provider, provider number 4-KPN4WRT, approved and in force until 18 September 2028 1. We work with participants and support coordinators directly, across plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed funding. Physiotherapy is named explicitly in the NDIS's own list of fundable therapy supports 3, so for most participants this is a question of what's in your plan, not whether physiotherapy counts. Programme detail is on our NDIS Physiotherapy page, and there's a dedicated NDIS physiotherapy page for Casula if that's what brought you here.
For a workplace injury, Ahmed Elsayed holds SIRA approval 22498. Under SIRA's own rules an approval number is valid across every location an approved practitioner works 2, which is why not having a Casula clinic doesn't affect a Casula claim. Treatment is billed through it, not out of your pocket. The full process, including CTP claims, is on our WorkCover & CTP Physiotherapy page.
FAQs
Do you actually come to Casula, or is Casula just listed as "nearby"?
We come to Casula. Fair question: search results for this suburb are full of operators based well outside it, some of them hours away. Our registration sits on the public NDIS provider register with a Casula 2170 address and a single outlet listed as "Mobile" 1: a government record, not a marketing claim.
How much is physio at home?
It depends on session length and whether it's an initial assessment or a follow-up. The bigger factor is usually funding: for eligible NDIS participants and accepted WorkCover claims, mobile sessions can be covered without a gap. The price of a mobile visit depends on your location and when the visit happens: during business hours, on a weekend or on a public holiday. For NDIS participants, sessions are priced within the NDIS pricing guidelines, and a travel fee and travel time also apply.
What conditions does mobile physio treat?
Broadly the same range a clinic appointment covers: lower back and manual-handling strains, post-surgical and post-trauma rehabilitation, overuse injuries from walking and cycling, and mobility or functional goals funded through a plan. If you're not sure yours fits, contact us and describe it.
Will NDIS pay for physio?
Physiotherapy is named explicitly in the NDIS's list of fundable therapy supports, and those supports cover mobility and movement such as walking and moving around your home 3. Therapy supports must be evidence-based and delivered by an allied health professional registered with AHPRA 3, which physiotherapists are.
What category is physio under NDIS?
Physiotherapy sits in the Capacity Building budget: the NDIS states this funding can be spent on therapy supports such as physiotherapy or occupational therapy 4. It's funded as a stated support, so the funding can't be moved between support categories 4. That matters if you're coordinating a plan rather than using one.
