Mobile Physiotherapy in Denham Court
The knee's been sore for a month. Between the school run, a toddler who won't nap anywhere but her own cot, and a shift that finishes after the clinic has locked up, the appointment keeps sliding. Recoveries stall on logistics here more often than on the injury. So we do the travelling instead.
Well Motion brings mobile physiotherapy to Denham Court. A physiotherapist comes to your house with the equipment a proper session needs, and works through the same root-cause approach our patients get in clinic. You've got a second option too: Mount Annan and Narellan are both a short drive.
Denham Court is two suburbs at once: the large-block, semi-rural ridge along Denham Court Road, and the newer Willowdale streets where most people now live. At the 2021 Census there were 9,129 residents here, median age 33 1.
What a home visit in Denham Court looks like
A first visit runs like a full clinic appointment, just in your space. We talk through what happened and what you're trying to get back to, assess properly, treat hands-on where that's the right call, and leave you with a plan you can carry out, not a printout of generic exercises.
Access here is about as easy as it gets: 87.5% of Denham Court's occupied dwellings are separate houses, against 65.6% across New South Wales 1. Driveway parking, a ground-floor entry, room to set a table up. No lifts to book, no intercom to explain.
People book for a simpler reason than access, though. This is a young-family suburb by a wide margin: 10.4% of residents are under five against 5.8% nationally, and a third of adults had provided unpaid care for children in the fortnight before Census night, against 25.3% across New South Wales 1. The problem was never wanting the appointment. It was getting out the door to it.
Shift work is the other pattern. Hospitals are the largest single industry of employment here, at 4.8% of workers 1, shifts that end long after a clinic has closed.
How a visit runs is on our mobile physiotherapy page. After hours, our 24/7 emergency mobile physiotherapy service covers this area, though if it's serious, an emergency department is the right call and we'll say so.
Areas We Cover
All of Denham Court, postcode 2565: the Willowdale streets, the acreage blocks along the Denham Court Road ridge, and everything either side of the council boundary. The suburb is split between the Campbelltown and Liverpool council areas 2; a mobile service doesn't care which side you're on.
For directions, the landmarks everyone knows are Denham Court homestead on Campbelltown Road (the 1814 house the suburb is named after, now a State Heritage item 3) and the 1838 St Mary the Virgin church 2.
Three neighbouring suburbs have their own pages: Edmondson Park to the north, Leppington to the west and Ingleburn to the north-east. We also travel to Bardia, St Andrews and Varroville. Everywhere else we reach is on our service areas page.
NDIS & WorkCover Support
Well Motion is a registered NDIS provider, provider number 4-KPN4WRT, working with plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed participants here. Because sessions happen at home, therapy happens in the rooms you need to move around in: your hallway, your steps, your bathroom. Mount Annan and Narellan run the same appointment if that's easier. Full programme detail is on our NDIS physiotherapy page.
Denham Court is one of the youngest suburbs we cover: only 9.2% of residents are 65 or over, and 9.6% provide unpaid assistance to someone with a disability or health condition, below the 11.5% across New South Wales 1. We're not going to dress that up into a story about demand. But if that's you or your child, the registration is real and the coverage is here.
For a workplace injury, Ahmed Elsayed holds SIRA approval number 22498 for the NSW workers compensation scheme, an individual practitioner approval, checkable on SIRA's public register. Work injuries here don't follow the usual South-West Sydney pattern: tradespeople make up 9.8% of workers, below the 11.9% state figure, while machinery operators and drivers sit at 7.4%, above the state's 6.0% 1. How claims work, including CTP, is on our WorkCover & CTP physiotherapy page.
FAQs
Who is entitled to free physiotherapy?
Two routes leave you paying nothing: an NDIS plan with physiotherapy funded in it, which we bill directly as a registered provider (4-KPN4WRT), and an accepted workers compensation claim, covered by Ahmed's SIRA approval (22498). A Medicare pathway reduces the cost rather than removing it. Not sure which applies to you? Get in touch.
Is physio fully covered by Medicare?
No. A GP chronic condition management plan can subsidise a limited number of allied health visits in a calendar year, with a gap payment usually still applying. The plan covers up to 5 sessions per calendar year, or up to 10 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 4. NDIS and WorkCover are different: for eligible participants and accepted claims, those can cover a full course of care with no gap.
How much is 1 hour of physiotherapy?
A home visit is priced differently to a clinic appointment, because travel sits on top of the treatment hour rather than inside it. The price of a mobile visit depends on your location and when the visit happens: during business hours, on a weekend or on a public holiday. For NDIS participants, sessions are priced within the NDIS pricing guidelines, and a travel fee and travel time also apply. Funded through an NDIS plan or an accepted claim, you generally won't be paying anything. Contact us for the exact figure first.
How long does a physiotherapy session last?
A mobile visit is 40 minutes, whether it's your first visit or a follow-up; on a first visit, the assessment is the bulk of it. On a mobile visit, travel goes into the booking, not into your appointment; the time we give you is treatment time.
What conditions does physiotherapy treat?
The same range at your kitchen table as in a clinic room: sports and soft-tissue injuries, back and neck pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, work injuries, paediatric and post-natal care, and the mobility and strength work inside an NDIS plan. Not sure yours needs an appointment? Contact us; we'd rather tell you it'll settle on its own than sell you sessions you don't need.
