Mobile Physiotherapy Sutherland Shire

Getting to the appointment is often the hardest part. If you're in Bundeena working around a ferry timetable, in Menai fitting rehab between school runs, or in Loftus recovering from surgery and not yet cleared to drive, the trip itself becomes the reason treatment keeps getting pushed back another week.

Well Motion brings physiotherapy to you across Sutherland Shire: Heathcote, Menai, Woronora, Bundeena, Loftus, Yarrawarrah, Sutherland and Kirrawee. It's the same structured, one-on-one, root-cause approach we use at our Engadine clinic, delivered in your living room, your garage, or wherever you're trying to get back to doing things normally.

That clinic matters here. Well Motion isn't a mobile-only operator working out of a car boot. We're a physiotherapy practice with a real address at 996 Old Princes Highway, Engadine, inside Bethany Medical Centre, that also comes to you. If it suits you better to be seen in person, our Engadine clinic is open to you. If it doesn't, our mobile physiotherapy service covers the Shire suburbs above, and our 24/7 after-hours emergency mobile service is there for the injuries that don't wait until Monday.

Sports Physiotherapy Across Sutherland Shire

The Shire runs on weekend sport, and the injuries that come with it rarely arrive at a convenient time. A rolled ankle on Saturday morning, a hamstring that tightens up before every game, a return-to-play plan after an ACL reconstruction. None of them fit neatly around a work roster or a school pick-up.

Our mobile sports physiotherapy comes to you anywhere across Heathcote, Menai, Woronora, Bundeena, Loftus, Yarrawarrah, Sutherland and Kirrawee: at home, at your gym, or at your local oval. We build the program around what caused the injury, not a generic timeline pulled off the internet, and we'll be straight with you about how long it's realistically going to take.

That means working out why the hamstring keeps going, not only settling it down for another fortnight. Your return-to-play plan has real checkpoints, not just a date on a calendar. And it's the same evidence-informed approach we'd use in the clinic, adapted to where you train and when you compete.

Areas We Cover

Heathcote, Menai, Woronora, Bundeena, Loftus, Yarrawarrah, Sutherland, Kirrawee, Miranda and Caringbah.

These are mobile, home-visit and telehealth coverage areas: we come to you rather than running a walk-in site in each suburb. If you'd like to be seen in person instead, our Engadine clinic is the closest one, and it's a short drive from most of the Shire. Not sure whether your street is inside our coverage? Get in touch and we'll give you a straight answer first, instead of booking you in and sorting it out later. For everywhere else we visit, see the full service areas list.

NDIS & WorkCover Support

Well Motion is a registered NDIS provider (4-KPN4WRT), and mobile physiotherapy is often the practical way to make a plan work in the Shire, particularly if getting to a clinic is part of what you're working on in the first place. We see plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed participants across Heathcote, Menai, Woronora, Bundeena, Loftus, Yarrawarrah, Sutherland and Kirrawee, and we'll work with your plan manager or support coordinator directly, so the paperwork isn't left to you. Full detail on how we structure NDIS supports sits on our NDIS physiotherapy page.

For workers, Ahmed Elsayed's SIRA approval (22498) covers direct WorkCover claims, so a tradie in Kirrawee or a warehouse worker in Sutherland can start treatment without paying up front and chasing it back. We'll liaise with your insurer and your employer's return-to-work coordinator as part of the process, and the sessions can happen at home if getting to a clinic is part of the injury. The full pathway is set out on our WorkCover physiotherapy page.

FAQs

What conditions does mobile physio treat?

Broadly, the same conditions we treat in the clinic. Sports injuries and return-to-play rehabilitation, post-surgical recovery, back and neck pain, joint and tendon problems, balance and falls prevention for older patients, and neurological and NDIS-funded supports. What changes with a mobile visit is the setting, not the scope: we bring the assessment, the hands-on treatment and the exercise program to you. The main things that need a clinic are imaging and any equipment that can't travel; if your problem needs either, we'll say so up front rather than working around it.

Do you cover Bundeena?

Yes. Bundeena is the one suburb in this list where getting to a clinic is a proper trip, not a minor inconvenience, whether you're driving around through the national park or catching the ferry across from Cronulla. That's why a home visit makes more sense there than almost anywhere else in the Shire. Bundeena visits do need a bit more notice than a Kirrawee or Loftus booking, so get in touch early and we'll find a time that works.

Can I use my NDIS plan for mobile physiotherapy in the Shire?

Yes. Well Motion is a registered NDIS provider (4-KPN4WRT), and we see plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed participants across all the suburbs listed above. Whether physiotherapy is funded in your particular plan, and how much of it, depends on how your plan is written. The best step is to send us your plan details or have your support coordinator contact us, and we'll tell you what we can deliver under it before you commit to anything.
