Mobile Physiotherapy Hinchinbrook

There's no walk-in physiotherapy clinic on Hoxton Park Road, and for a lot of people in Hinchinbrook that's where the search stops. It shouldn't. Well Motion doesn't run a clinic here. We come to you, with the equipment a proper session needs and the same root-cause approach our patients get in our Engadine, Mount Annan, Narellan/Harrington Park and Appin clinics.

If Hinchinbrook feels like it runs straight into the suburbs either side of it, there's a reason: it was created in 1986 out of the southern part of Green Valley and the northern part of Hoxton Park, and named after the creek that still runs through it 2. We cover all three.

Around 11,521 people live here in postcode 2168, median age 35, one in five residents under 15 1. That shapes how we book: around school pick-ups, shift rosters and whoever else is home.

What a mobile visit in Hinchinbrook looks like

A first visit runs like a full clinic appointment, just in your space: we talk through what happened and what you want to get back to, assess properly, treat hands-on where that's right, and leave you with a plan you can keep up.

Access here is about as simple as it gets. 88.0% of occupied private dwellings are separate houses and only 0.8% are flats 1. For nearly everyone that means a driveway and a front door: no intercom code, no visitor parking, no lift to book. Homes are large too, 57.7% with four bedrooms or more 1, so there's usually room to work properly.

Expect family around: in about seven in ten households here a language other than English is used at home 1, and whoever's in the room usually notices things you'd never think to mention.

Full service detail is on our Mobile & In-Home Physiotherapy page. Outside normal hours, our 24/7 after-hours emergency mobile service covers Hinchinbrook.

If you lift, drive or work a trade

Around a quarter of working residents here do physical work for a living: machinery operators and drivers are 13.6% of employed residents, technicians and trades workers another 12.7% 1. Road freight transport is one of the industries locals work in 1, mostly out on the motorway corridor, not inside the suburb.

That work has a recognisable injury pattern behind it: repeated lifting, twisting under load, long hours seated or on concrete, and the lower back, shoulder and knee problems that follow. They rarely start with one dramatic moment. They build, get worked through, and then stop you.

If it happened at work, the visit can happen at home after a shift, and treatment is usually billed through the claim, not paid up front.

Young families, school terms and weekend sport

One in five people here is under 15 1. Hinchinbrook Public School runs Kindergarten to Year 6 3, Good Samaritan Catholic College sits on Hoxton Park Road, and Hoxton Park and James Busby high schools take students from these streets 2. The Hinchinbrook Hornets field boys' and girls' junior rugby league teams from Under 6 to Under 14 4.

So a good share of what we see here is growing bodies: heel pain mid-season, ankles rolled on a Saturday morning, knees that ache through a growth spurt. Being seen at home helps: nobody's driving an unhappy ten-year-old across Liverpool after school.

Areas We Cover

Hinchinbrook itself, postcode 2168: the streets around Valley Plaza, out to the Green Valley and Hoxton Park boundaries 2. We cover the suburbs around it too, each with its own page: Green Valley, Hoxton Park, West Hoxton, Middleton Grange and Prestons.

NDIS & WorkCover Support

Well Motion is a registered NDIS provider, number 4-KPN4WRT. We work with participants and support coordinators directly, and with plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed funding. Sessions happen where you live: no transport to arrange, no appointment to get to. Full programme detail is on our NDIS Physiotherapy page.

For a workplace injury, Ahmed Elsayed holds SIRA approval 22498, covering direct WorkCover claims, so treatment can be billed through the claim rather than paid up front. To get started, we need a referral from your doctor and a copy of your Certificate of Capacity. The full process, including CTP claims, is on our WorkCover & CTP Physiotherapy page.

FAQs

How much does a physio visit at home cost?

It depends which funding route applies. An NDIS-funded session is invoiced against your plan; an accepted WorkCover or CTP claim is billed through the claim; a private session can usually be claimed against private health extras. Contact us and we'll tell you what applies.

Will the NDIS pay for physiotherapy?

It can, where physiotherapy sits in your plan as a therapy support. We're a registered provider (4-KPN4WRT), so we can invoice against plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed funding. Detail is on our NDIS Physiotherapy page.

Can I get 5 free physiotherapy visits from Medicare?

Not quite free, for most people. A GP-managed care plan can subsidise a limited number of sessions a year for someone with an eligible chronic condition, and a gap payment usually still applies. The plan covers up to 5 sessions per calendar year, or up to 10 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 5. NDIS and accepted WorkCover claims work differently: those can cover mobile sessions without a gap.

How do you know if your physio is good?

Start with the checkable things. Every physiotherapist in Australia must be registered with AHPRA, and you can search the public register yourself. Then look at how the care runs: the same physiotherapist each visit, a written plan with something to reassess against, and a plain explanation of what's going on. You can read Ahmed Elsayed's background and qualifications first.

Does Well Motion have a clinic in Hinchinbrook?

No. There's no clinic or reception you can walk into here. Everything in Hinchinbrook is a mobile or in-home visit, run from our Engadine, Mount Annan, Narellan/Harrington Park and Appin clinics. Prefer to be seen in a clinic? Contact us and we'll tell you which is easiest to reach.
