Mobile Physiotherapy Green Valley

There's no Well Motion clinic on Wilson Road, and for a lot of people in Green Valley that's where the search stops. It shouldn't. We're a mobile service here: a physiotherapist drives to you, sets up in the lounge room, and works through the same structured, root-cause assessment and treatment our patients get in the Engadine, Mount Annan, Narellan/Harrington Park and Appin clinics.

Green Valley sits in the City of Liverpool, north-west of Liverpool itself 5, and shares postcode 2168 with Hinchinbrook, Heckenberg and Busby, among other suburbs 8. About 12,919 people live here, median age 37, average household 3.5 people against 2.6 for New South Wales 1, a full-household suburb, which shapes how we book: around school runs, shift work and whoever else is home.

What a mobile visit in Green Valley looks like

A first visit runs like a full clinic appointment, just in your space. We talk through what happened and what you want to get back to, assess properly, treat hands-on where that's the right call, and leave you with a plan you can stick to, not a printout of generic exercises.

Access here is simpler than almost anywhere else we travel. Green Valley is overwhelmingly detached housing: 82.1% of occupied private dwellings are separate houses and only 0.9% are flats, against 21.7% across New South Wales 2. For nearly everyone that means driveway parking and a front door: no intercom code, no visitor parking rules, no lift to organise. It also means we assess you where the problem shows up. If getting off the lounge is what hurts, we'd rather watch you do that than watch you on a plinth.

Expect family around, too. Nearly four in five households here speak a language other than English at home 4, so a visit often has a partner, an adult child or a carer in the room. That helps: they usually know things about your movement you'd never think to mention.

Full service detail is on our Mobile & In-Home Physiotherapy page. If something's happened outside normal hours and can't wait, our 24/7 after-hours emergency mobile service covers Green Valley.

Long-term conditions are a bigger part of the picture here

Green Valley isn't a new estate. It was built between 1961 and 1965 as one of six suburbs of the Green Valley Housing Estate by the Housing Commission of NSW, and gazetted on 7 April 1972 5. Aged persons units were part of the original design, and sixty years on plenty of people here are still in homes they've lived in for decades.

There's a matching health picture. At the 2021 Census, 6.8% of residents reported diabetes against 4.8% for New South Wales and 4.7% nationally, and 5.9% reported arthritis 3. So a lot of our visits aren't about one bad afternoon on a sports field.

We're not managing your diabetes. That's your GP's work. But plenty of what physiotherapy does sits alongside it: graded exercise you'll keep doing rather than abandon in week two, strength and balance work, looking after feet and lower limbs where sensation or circulation has changed, falls prevention, and post-hospital rehabilitation in the house you're trying to stay in. When the walk to the car is the hard part, travelling to the appointment is the barrier. And if you've been told to "get more active" without knowing where to start safely, that's reason enough to call.

Areas We Cover

Green Valley itself, postcode 2168: the streets either side of Wilson Road, where the District Centre and library sit beside Green Valley Plaza 6,7, out to the Cecil Hills and Hinchinbrook boundaries. We also cover Hinchinbrook and Cecil Hills, each with its own page, and Liverpool.

There's a reason those three read as one area: Hinchinbrook was part of the original Green Valley district until it was carved out as a separate suburb in 1986 5, and that boundary has never meant much to the people either side of it.

NDIS & WorkCover Support

Well Motion is a registered NDIS provider, number 4-KPN4WRT. We work with participants and support coordinators directly, and with plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed funding. Sessions happen where you live: no transport to arrange and no appointment to get to, which is often why a plan's therapy budget goes unused. Full programme detail is on our NDIS Physiotherapy page.

For a workplace injury, Ahmed Elsayed holds SIRA approval 22498, covering direct WorkCover claims, so treatment can be billed through the claim rather than paid up front. To get started, we need a referral from your doctor and a copy of your Certificate of Capacity. The full process, including CTP claims, is on our WorkCover & CTP Physiotherapy page.

FAQs

Will the NDIS pay for physiotherapy?

It can, where physiotherapy sits in your plan as a therapy support. We're a registered provider (4-KPN4WRT), so we can invoice against plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed funding. What's covered is on our NDIS Physiotherapy page.

Is physiotherapy fully covered by Medicare? Can I get five free visits?

For most people, no. A GP-managed care plan can subsidise a limited number of sessions in a calendar year for people with an eligible chronic condition, and a gap payment usually still applies. The plan covers up to 5 sessions per calendar year, or up to 10 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 9. NDIS and WorkCover work differently: for eligible participants and accepted claims, those routes can cover mobile sessions without a gap.

How much does a mobile physiotherapy visit cost?

It depends which route applies. A private session can usually be claimed against private health extras cover; an NDIS-funded session is invoiced against your plan; an accepted WorkCover claim is billed through the claim. Contact us and we'll tell you what applies before you book.
