After-Hours & Emergency Physio Bondi
Hurt in Bondi when everything is shut? A physiotherapist comes to you. Call (02) 8111 5633, any hour.
You've come off your board at the skate park, or your back went carrying the esky up from the sand, and it's Sunday evening. Your usual physio is shut until tomorrow.
We're not based in Bondi and have no rooms there. A physiotherapist comes to you through our 24/7 after-hours emergency mobile physiotherapy, and follow-up is by telehealth physiotherapy or at one of our four clinics.
Coming out to Bondi
We're called out to the eastern suburbs regularly.
Four in five homes in Bondi are flats or apartments 2, and in Bondi Beach it is closer to nine in ten 3. Street parking near the beach is limited and metered 4, so tell us about visitor parking and the intercom.
The median age in Bondi is 34 2. Bondi Park packs a skate park, an outdoor gym and a beach volleyball area into the strip behind the sand, with a tidal pool at the north end 4.
Bondi Beach itself is about a kilometre long and draws up to 50,000 people on a busy summer's day 5.
What we come out for
A wrist from the skate park, a shoulder from the surf, a back from the outdoor gym. That's what we come out for.
One call to (02) 8111 5633 starts it. See how a call-out works for each step after that.
When to call 000 instead
Some things are not ours. For loss of consciousness, chest pain, trouble breathing, signs of a stroke or bleeding that won't stop, call triple zero (000) 1. A hit to the head followed by vomiting, confusion or blacking out is a 000 call as well. So is a neck injury that leaves you unable to move or feel your arms or legs. If back pain arrives with numbness between your legs, or you lose control of your bladder or bowel, go to an emergency department. Do the same for a calf that is swollen, hot and red. The nearest emergency departments are at Randwick: Prince of Wales Hospital for adults and Sydney Children's Hospital for children. For everything else that's a muscle, joint or bone problem, call us.
Areas we cover nearby
Bondi, Bondi Beach, North Bondi, Tamarama, Bronte, Double Bay and Bondi Junction. For anywhere else, see where we travel.
